As a licensed educational psychologist, I take a collaborative and evidence-based approach to supporting students in special education. I work closely with families, educators, and related service providers to conduct a thorough evaluation that reflects each child’s unique strengths, needs, and learning profile. My goal is to help each student access their education in a way that feels meaningful, empowering, and aligned with who they are.
At Nova Education, I believe that every child is inherently capable of learning and thriving when given the right support, environment, and understanding. Each student brings a unique blend of cognitive, emotional, and behavioral strengths that must be recognized and nurtured rather than standardized. My role is to uncover how a child learns best—not just what they know, but how they come to know it—by observing, listening, and using evidence-based assessments to guide personalized support. I view challenges not as deficits but as signals pointing toward unmet needs, unseen strengths, or mismatched instructional strategies. By collaborating closely with families, educators, and students themselves, I aim to create opportunities for each child to access their full potential with dignity and confidence.
We help families navigate the IEP and 504 processes by providing clear guidance, compassionate support, and a solid understanding of special education law. I work to ensure that parents feel informed and empowered at every step, from initial evaluations to team meetings and beyond. By explaining rights, accommodations, and services. I help families advocate effectively for their child’s needs while fostering strong collaboration with the school team. My role is to be both a resource and an ally in creating plans that support meaningful access to learning.
